Well, Breaking Bad was a mixture of emotion, drama, action and thrill. Vinice Gilligan created a series that traces the trauma and desperation of a father and husband, keen to secure the future of his family. It is the heart rendering tale of a common man whose life is turned upside down when he realizes that death is not that far away. Walter White is a middle aged chemistry teacher, who is diagnosed with Stage III Lung Cancer. His wife, Skyler is pregnant and he has a teenage son, Walter White Jr., who is diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Already troubled by his family problems, Walter is shattered by the diagnosis of the cancer.

To ensure a financially secure future for his family, after his death, he uses his knowledge of chemistry to prepare a drug named meth and enters the world of drug mafias. He is joined by his ex-student Jesse. Meanwhile, Hank, who works for DEA and is also the brother-in-law of Walter, is on the lookout for the new drug lord, totally unaware of the fact that his brother-in-law is the one he is looking for. Walter and Jesse reach a compromise according to which, Walter prepares the meth and Jesse sells it. Walter and Jesse are also introduced to a new buyer named Tuco, a violent man who pays good money for high quality meth. Season 1 has been aired and season 2 with the new series will be aired in March 2009.
